18 year old with imaginary friends?

i'm 18. i'm a loner. is it ok for me to have imaginary friends? will this be detrimenting anyone? my dad is really perplexed about this situation. he thinks its a very obtuse idea. i mean i dont fit in with people & society. my religion was Christianity, but even Christians bully me. now i'm just an Atheist, i guess. but i have faith that when i die, i'll be with my Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. but no, i'm by myself. about to go to college. i cant make friends with human beings. noone wants to be a crony of mine. everyone my age is out drinking, partying, having , doing drugs, breaking the law. i dont like doing that stuff. any ideas? should i engender some imaginary friends so that i wont feel so desolated all the time? thank u & God Bless
