TO ALL PEOPLE WHO READ THE GIVER BY LOIS LOWRY: How does this book touch on the human condition?

The book relates to real life in that, in the book, the society is meant to be a utopia, or perfect society. The way the society in the book tried to make this utopia, however, was the same thing that led to a downfall. The book is trying to say that there is no perfect world. Make everyone the same, and life has no meaning, but make everyone different, the way it is for real, and the world is still far from perfect.
