Modern Warfare 2 Killcam Replay Question?

Ok guys, Here is the deal. The other day I came around a corner saw a guy, sprayed him with a ump-45 (should die right?) then next thing you know I am dead. Watched killcam, His killcam was totally different.. It looked like I just ran around the corner, I didnt even shoot in the killcam. Is this an internet speed issue?
