How do i cut my rabbits nails?????

PLEASE PEOPLE>> My rabbit, Gizmo, is very hyper and sometimes aggressive. He has went threw some life crisis' and i can't even get him to sit still!!!!!!!! His nails are getting so long im affraid that hes going to brake his nail, just like my dog did (not a pretty sight). I'm just a kid and my family refuses to take the rabbit to get its nails clipped professionally. How do i do it on this Hyper rabbit?
